With a bag of groceries in one hand, he dialed Kasuka's number before placing the Dreamberry to his ear. "...Ah, Kasuka? I was wonderi--what the!?"
The call was cut off when out of nowhere, Shizuo felt something land on top of his head. The phone still in his hand, he glanced up as soon as he saw an all too familiar black tail sway in front of his face. Knowing full well what it was, he just let out a sigh and closed his eyes for a moment.
Phone forgotten and eyebrow twitching, Shizuo reached up and grabbed the black cat by the scruff of her neck and held it up to his face, staring. "...Huh. Guess you survived."
But now what was he going to do with it? He had already forgotten what her name was, too, but it was obvious the cat had not forgotten him. In fact she was purring despite being held up like that
...Maybe he should ask Kasuka if he wanted a cat.
