[Beautiful and unique? Look, she seems all the more proud as she holds her head a little higher, peering up at the fireworks. She enjoyed the sight of them.]
[Scratches? Of course, she doesn't mind at all, rather she's getting closer and nudging her muzzle under a hand to the top of her head with a content tail wag. ]
[that gets a light chuckle from Allen as he starts to move his fingers rubbing against the back of Ammy's ear]
You're very smart for a...well whatever you are.
[a sheepish smile spreads on his lips but he's not stopping the scratching. For a moment he gets a heart clenching sense of Deja Vu. Mana's dog...hah that old memory was still in his mind huh? Allen's eyes seem to show his trip down memory lane as he continues to scratch. For some odd reason he feels his eyes heating up as tears pool up. What the hell? He...ah dammit! He brings his other hand and quickly wipes his eyes]
[She tilts her head against the scratches, eyes closed as she contently leans into the touch before eyes capture the fireworks still booming overhead.
Though her attention is soon on the look in his eyes and simply watches him in silence, she of course can not replace someone as special as who he was remembering but she could at least offer some comfort as a mother would.
With a whine, she leans against him a little, staring up with continuous tail wags.]
[the whine is what brings all of Allen's attention back to Ammy. He smiles again though it doesn't reach all the way.]
I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me. It's nothing serious.
[he can't say its nothing at all. He can't bring himself to deny that. A single selfish decision]
[He scratches Ammy's ear some more before moving on to the back of her neck. He had to admit having her around guaranteed he would end up smiling at one point or another. Now their first encounter seems like such a dream. To think they met over stealing food. Back then he hadn't pictured he would be here now and scratching Ammy behind her neck like this.]
[Yet the Wolf Goddess is watching him closely, hearing his words but she can still sense the emotion in his voice. Her tail wags slowly, enjoying the the stroking along her neck to which she leans in to give a doggy kiss in an attempt to cheer him up. Though silence sometimes is what's appreciated in times like this, so she leans against him as she peers up at the fireworks.]
[that manages to make Allen chuckle. The cold went snout the intent behind the nudge. All of it causes the chuckling to rumble out of his chest before he tries to cover it up. He moves his to the side of Amy's neck for a bit before returning to the ears]
Thank you. For being here.
[and he puts utter gratitude in his words seeing as he means it.]
[She appears happy at his words, nudging her head against him as though to say 'your welcome.' She raises her eyes to the fireworks, watching them boom endlessly in the sky. She was glad she can help in this new world.]
How did you do that, if you don't mind me asking?
[why yes for the moment he has forgotten she can't answer back in words]

It was beautiful and....unique I admit.
[definitely unique. Back home there are no animals that can just cause an explosion/firework like that.]
