You would think that the entire place turning into some bakery/sweet shop wonderland would be a dream come true for Ron who was a big fan of the whole unhealthy food thing. But it wasn't. Because his home had been turned into food, probably everything he owned was going to be horribly disgusting and sticky and the novelty had well and truly worn off. It was just plain weird and no amount of charms would lift it.

Anyway, time to go out and brave the shops to go pick up some more food and things for the big Christmas dinner and some wrapping paper for the presents that were actually possible to wrap. Unlike one of the gifts.

So he was just out, doing that when he spotted her and stood there for a few minutes, one eyebrow raised and a semi-thoughtful, semi-amused look on his face.

"Just that good?"

The sweets and deliciousness could only be described by the way her tail was wagging so fast, quick little swishes side to side as she contently munched along with the hole in this poor unsuspecting victim's house getting larger the more she ate. She's never tasted something as sweet as this back at home, sure there was a few Japanese sweets but this was a whole lot different. Quite frankly, she was enjoying it a lot. You imagine everyone would take a taste, but never actually eat something that wasn't.. well, exactly edible before the change.

Whether the change was bad or good, Amaterasu was having a delicious time at the moment before a familiar voice catches her attention. She lifts her head, spotting the young boy, ah he was the one that invited her to a 'Christmas get-together.' She was looking forward to it, curious to how they would celebrate it, but of course food is the most exciting part. She barks to him, wagging her tail still.

It's very delicious and you should try it.

The amusement won and Ron made his way closer, picking what had maybe once been part of the window pane off, taking a bite and well, he doubted he'd be having many sweets for a while after this. At least nothing seemed to be made of Bertie Botts beans because then people would be in for an unfortunate surprise if they thought they were getting something sweet but instead got tripe or earwax flavours.

"I didn't know if dogs liked sweets like this," he said, holding out his free hand to her with a smile, "but you don't look like a normal dog." Even Sirius had looked just like a normal big black mutt when he'd been in his Animagus form but those markings had to mean something. Along with the communicating.

Amaterasu watches him as he takes a bite, tail still swaying side to side as she continued to lick and clean the sweets off from around her muzzle. Well her not being a normal dog was definitely it, Ammy here has a huge stomach so she always has room for food. Sweets like this was something new, but it was sure delicious and hard to stop. The Goddess extends her nose towards the boy's free hand, sniffing before giving a light lick.

Though she lifts her head and tilts it, giving a whine. What brings him out here? Tasting the houses and sweets too?

When she licked his palm he laughed because well, normal dog thing but still, they were by a house made of gingerbread and apparently peppermint something or other judging from what he was eating.

"Hermione's going to kill me if she finds out that instead of getting the shopping I said I would get, I'm off eating houses. Actually, just the eating houses bit is going to get me a lecture." Because he's sure it falls under several lecture possibilities: you don't know who the house belongs to, someone has to live here, you will rot all your teeth, you will ruin your dinner and so on and so forth. "So this'll be our secret, right?"

Normal as can be, or domestic really, but hey, Gingerbread houses or whatever they are delicious because everything is made out of food. Mmmm. Ears perk forward, the wolf peering up at him as he talked. Its sort of hard to deny the sweets when you see it though but don't worry, it'll be their secret. Amaterasu barks up to him as though to promise, wagging her tail excitedly again before giving a light nudge to him.

Don't want to be late then! She's heard how shopping can be during this Season, he better get there and fast before he get's beaten to by other Shoppers.

"Shame you can't talk outside of the fellytone thingie," he added, unable to stop from smiling because there were few things more cheering than a happy dog/wolf thing wagging its tail and barking. Almost a shame Hogwarts hadn't let them have dogs but then nothing would ever get done then now would it?

"Guess I'll head off, I'll see you for dinner soon, trust me, there's going to be plenty of food on the go."

Oh, that's right, he hasn't seen her write outside the Dreamberry has he? The wolf continues to stare up at him before giving a light nod, refraining from drooling yet over the thought, plenty of food was always something to look forward to. Especially for Ammy, there can never be too many. With a light sway of her tail, the ink-tipped wrote a message on the ground of her clear and elegant brushwork.

I look forward to it.

Well bloody hell, it was cool seeing that face to face and well, she was definitely welcome to come around and do amazing things like that any time she fancied and with the hand that hadn't been holding the peppermint window pane, he gave her a scratch behind the ears.

"Remember to scarper if the owner of that wall sees you!" He called as he set off again to go do some more Christmas shopping, bloke style.
