It began like any other morning. And like any other morning, Sakura overslept again. So now she's rushing through the house, trying to get ready for school. Only, she's already dressed in uniform. And... those aren't her father and brother staring at her in the kitchen like she's a stranger who just busted in their house. "E-ehh?" A quick glance to the right, and she immediately knew this isn't her house. Her mother's portrait is missing. She laughs awkwardly and inches towards the exit. Then she bolts out, calling "Sorry for the trouble!" behind her, and steps into a dream world.
Well, she's not actually sure, but this has to be a dream..... At least, this is exactly Kero-chan's dream world would look like. Candies! Sweets, everywhere! Even that house she came from. It's a gingerbread house! And the snow... powdered sugar...? But wait. Speaking of Kero-chan... She looks around, but her guardian is missing. Starting to feel anxious, she wanders around. No one seems to be up and about just yet so where---
THUNK. "Ow! Wha...? It hurts! ...So, this isn't a dream after all?" She turns to see a bunch of snowmen gathering behind her. All holding lumps of coal. "Eh... snowmen?" They pulled back their arms, and Sakura gasps and takes out her key. "Release! JUMP!" She lands safely on top of a gingerbread house away from the onslaught, and blinks at herself. "Hoe?!" Her outfit has changed! (Why this outfit from Tomoyo-chan's pictorials, Sakura isn't sure.)
Up here, she could see most of the village and her breath was taken by the view. "Hanyan~~ It's really like a candyland!" But her amazement was interrupted by another barrage of coals. With a small squeak, she leaps away. Sweets... now violent snowmen? Last time she encountered strange things like this was two years ago, when she inherited the Cards... but she couldn't feel Clow's power this time. So what exactly is this place?
There's a giant Christmas tree in the center of the village. Maybe she could find someone to ask there. Shifting directions, she jumps her way rooftop to rooftop towards there.
