Kio had used up a lot of materials in painting various things for Valentine’s Day and had been running low on supplies. Not to mention since he had started teaching the painter had yet to have a chance to really take any time for himself between lessons and all the other chaos that had been going on throughout the city. Sometimes this place really hurt his head when he tried piecing it all together and how things were supposed to work. He had spent a good portion of the morning wandering through a museum in the third district, studying the various pieces of art so that he wouldn’t be too out of shape when he got home and resume his studies. But the main purpose of his outing had been to visit a few of the specialty stores in the district that carried art supplies that most stores didn’t have, in addition to getting some air since the weather had been clear all week.
The only annoyances really were the flying cupids, though they seemed rather content to leave Kio alone for the moment. Still though, there was still the occasional *donk* as a yellow arrow would hit him in the back of the head. "Stupid cupids."
