Partly because Dastan had felt guilty about leaving Tamina alone shortly after her arrival in this world. and partly because he had been told that Valentine's Day was some sort of celebration about love, the Prince had offered a beautiful gray mare to the Princess. The horse had been easy to brake and he knew it wouldn't be hard to be trained further. The animal seemed to have an unlimited amount of patience, from what he had seem of its interactions with his own stallion, Aksh.
After finding more adapted clothes for Tamina, he had hold up to his offer to show her around and waited for her to mount her mare before jumping onto Aksh. The black horse seemed skittish and the Persian knew he would have to push it to its limit at the end of their ride.

He was planning to show her the most beautiful site he knew about this world. The Lake, the desert, the quaint cottages and the rich mansions and manors, the austere churches, the city limits and skyscrapers.
