[ lee ] 001: Awakening

The sun shining through his hospital room window is brighter than Lee remembered it... And the bed he is sleeping on feels oddly like a bed of tall grass. He takes a moment to soak in the sunlight before stretching a little and bolting upright, opening his eyes.
...
This is not the hospital room. After a closer look around, it does not even seem to be Konoha.
The young shinobi remains seated in his spot in the field and takes a moment to look around him; being trained as a ninja, he has learned to survey his surroundings before making a move (not that Lee always does what he has learned...) This town does not look remotely familiar, though it isn't too different from what Konoha looks like.
His hands move to touch a small device. It is nothing he has ever seen before, and next to it sits two small cards. His shinobi training is telling him to be careful, but there is a strong urge to pick up the device along with these cards.
After much thought, he does. And pockets them. They seem to be fairly harmless. So far.
Lee stands up finally and stretches. His muscles are still aching a little, and parts of his arm and leg are still bandaged, but he is almost completely healed. Gai-Sensei had promised him that today would be the day he would begin his rehabilitation training (and Gai-Sensei had also promised that he would get to learn some new Taijutsu moves, if Lee would promise to remain in his hospital bed for a week, which he had patiently - albeit with plenty of frustration and not without a few complaints here or there - done.)
"This must be the new training site," he says excitedly to himself, his expression immediately brightening.
First, touring this new town. But not any normal tour, he will do it on his hands.
"ALRIGHT! THEN I SHALL BEGIN!"
Aaaand, Lee is off, walking on his hands.
