[From the way the man is looking around, as if to figure out where he is, it's easy for anyone that has been long enough in this world to figure out that he is one of the new arrival. Lara smirks lightly at his comment and can't help herself but to replay to it]

Oh, you should have seen this place when everything was made out of candy. It was quite the sight to see. More than faded colors and art deco buildings from 1920s.

Candy? [He arches a single fine eyebrow in disbelief.] Certainly far less sturdy than the current architecture, I'm sure. Does this place change often, then?

Surprisingly enough, no building crumbled under the weight of their gingerbread roof.

[She chuckles lightly]

Change is not always the flavor of the moment. But I can assure you that this place will keep you entertained.

So it seems. Anything can and will happen, then, is it? I suppose that could be fun.

I don't know about anything happening, but I suggest keeping an open mind. And a good sense of humor.

Good. I suppose you must have questions about this world?

Indeed. So many, I'm not quite sure where to start. Do we know what, exactly, this place is?

From what I've gathered since I've arrived here, this is what most people here call a 'dreamworld', called Somarium. Apparently, we are all still home and dreaming. When we 'wake' up, it would appear that we do not remember our time here. In the mean time, saddle yourself for weird happenings.
