First, I must say that I am to see the last few people who had to drop, go ._. Also, for those who are having like a shitty time with real life issues, I wish y'all the best.
And now I must continue with my duties and introduce the Nightmare Event...that is not quite here YET.
The dream from the Overlord was just a little precursor of what's going to happen.
That world that everyone saw in the Overlord's dream? Yeah, that's where your characters are going to find themselves starting tomorrow.
That's right, they will be inside the Overlord's nightmare. Crazy huh? So here's the breakdown on what this event will be like and what all is going to happen:

That world that everyone saw in the Overlord's dream? Yeah, that's where your characters are going to find themselves starting tomorrow.
That's right, they will be inside the Overlord's nightmare. Crazy huh? So here's the breakdown on what this event will be like and what all is going to happen:
- Lasts from Nov. 30 - Dec. 7.
- Though it lasts a week, it will feel like a never ending day to everyone. All sense of time is lost on the characters.

- Takes place in the Overlord's nightmare.
- As stated above, the characters will wake up tomorrow and find themselves in a sort of alternate world of Somarium. Why and how they ended up there is up to THEM to find out, and they might not even figure it out, which is fine. However, in this nightmare, they will be able to learn a few things of what happened to the world before they arrived...or at least some fear of that the Overlord has. As this is also her nightmare, they might also find something about herself.
If you wish your character or a group of character to discover something, run it by through us first :3 I'll be dropping clues throughout the week, but any other ideas that y'all might have will be more than welcome :D
- As stated above, the characters will wake up tomorrow and find themselves in a sort of alternate world of Somarium. - The world basically looks like the Realm of Torment from Guild Wars.
- Totally not because I'm lazy I figured since the main images for the community came from GW, might as well throw something else into it >_> STFU I can do what I want xO Plus, if you've ever played the game, the Realm of Torment is EVIL. But anyway, yeah basically the characters will find themselves in a very broken and dangerous world. Everything is twisted (almost like those Picasso paintings) and these lovely things will be scattered about. And yes they will try to stab you through :|
And continuing with the thieving >w> Your characters will feel what will be called status effects while out there walking/running/hiding around. It can vary between the character, but some include: intense sense of fear, increase of energy consumption, skills (like magic, strength, even wit) less effective, etc. Again, it's optional. Characters can be unaffected or not as affected.
Also, there is one safe zone. Espoir. It's not completely safe, but definitely better than out in the city.
One last thing. The desert? Yeah the barrier is gone. HAVE FUN OUT THERE :Db The monsters from out there will also be invading~

- Yeeep that's right. characters can't sleep while inside another person's dream now can they? :O They'll probably feel tired, but no matter what they do, they won't be able to sleep. Not even knocked unconscious.

- Therefore, characters CANNOT make dream posts during this event. All other posts are allowed though.
- Sorry for those who planned on making nightmare posts for your characters, buuuut. No cigar |D Those'll probably happen AFTER the event anyway :|; Only other posts allowed are the voice posts and the logs. The Dreamberries still work...to a degree. The reception may not be as great in some places as it would be in others. Best place will be Espoir, worse place the Industrial district. So cut off phone calls or static will be likely.

- HAHA VAMP. Yeeeah. Again, no deaths in nightmare land. Your characters can suffer fatal injuries but they just won't die. Won't even get knocked out. Horrifying, isn't it?

- Remember those weird creatures from the Overlord's dream? Yeah. INTRODUCING THE EVER SO CREATIVELY NAMED NEW CREATURES: NOCTAERE. Okay so it was a bit creative. Anyway, their real forms are like shadowy blobs or beasts, similar to what was described in the Overlord's nightmare. And they will be out to hurt you :3 Some aren't as hostile as others. I'd watch out for the ones with the many limbs. They also come in varying shapes and sizes. Some might even look more monstery/animalistic.
Destroying the Noctaere IS possible. Have fun figuring that out, though :D

Edit: Forgot to mention, there will be a max of two monsters from each different canon. Robots count. But not like enemy Gundams or Knightmares >_> There will be a thread in this post where you can suggest and decide what monsters should be included. A brief description will be very much appreciated.
