Event Part III: THE END + bonus ending with the Overlord
A little bit delayed, but here is all the information in regards to what is going to happen at the end of the event.
We're also doing an OOC death toll count, read under the cut!
❊ WHO DIED? ❊
Simple question! Anyone can answer, we just want a record of which characters died in this event.
We are also curious as to which characters died during the course of the game. Some characters aren't here anymore, but that's all right. If you remember people who have died in the past, please comment.

❊ WHEN ❊
The event ends tomorrow at midnight, Sunday September 13, 2009. However, there is a bit of a "bonus" ending. This will happen the following day, Monday September 14, 2009. ICly, this lasts for a day, but people can still thread to it backlogged if they miss it. We realize this is hitting the end of the app cycle, but it's the only way to work it.
❊ WHAT ❊
As like all our other events, there will be an obvious "signal post" made by the mod journal in the main community, somarium, that will depict in detail what happens. But we're going ahead and telling you what will be in it so you can be prepared. In short:
❊ WAIT WE CAN ASK QUESTIONS?!?! ❊
Yes, you read that right, you can ask questions. And she will answer to the best of her abilities. Some people will get more answers than others, particularly if there are repeats. If a question has already been answered by someone else, she will be more vague about.
It is up to everyone to pool everything they learn.
❊ WHAT TO EXPECT ❊
The Overlord will be visibly weak as her condition has deteriorated over the past few months, and after that "miracle" she performs, she will be even weaker and will not be able to stay there but for a couple of hours if that. If your character wishes to try and actually harm the Overlord because of this, they can try.
...But it won't be pretty.
The other ghosts will be there, possibly helping (or hindering) in answering the questions. But they are also there to protect her. Other figures that will be there will be her trusty and favorite pegasus and armored, masked guards who will be surrounding her. If any character tries to fight her or use any magical powers against her, they will be countered by other forces and will themselves hurtled back a few feet.
Otherwise she's pretty much out in the open.

That's fine! Like said above, backlogging is cool.
❊ WHAT ABOUT NEW CHARACTERS? ❊
Since this is happening at the end of the app cycle, we're kind of fudging the arrival of the new characters. Even if they intro later, they can have the chance to talk to the Overlord. However, time paradoxes might happen, and we'll give future accepted applicants a heads up so they will be informed. Those who have already been accepted, feel free to be like "Who the hell are you? o_O" and such.
❊ WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS ARE ALLOWED? ❊
Whatever you want. How much is actually revealed will be random, but we can guarantee that there will be definite answers on some questions. Choose your questions wisely. Multiple questions are allowed, but at some point she may stop answering due to her condition.
Remember to try keep player known knowledge out.

That's being officially introduced within the next week or so. Yes, that day is almost here! However it must be noted that the characters do not know anything about the credit system so you can't just deliberately ask that ICly. This also ties in with the "dream energy" concept. However, some characters can question about the dreams in general and what they may be used for. If the characters can ICly figure out something, then hooha! But we won't be making it easy.

- Overlord appears.
- Barrier is reformed 3-5 miles out from where it was originally.
- Anyone who is conscious/awake/still alive will witness as she reconstructs the entire city and village, including some additions that will be mentioned later.
- The monsters will literally disintegrate.
- She will descend down to the center of the village by the fountain and invite people to come forward.
