ACTIVITY CHECK 11/9 - 11/16
All right guys, it's way overdue, but time for the activity check!
The activity check is just to filter out and remind people about being generally active in the game. This is required for characters to pass the activity in the check:
To pass the activity check for the months of September and October,
you must provide a link to one dream post plus threads totaling up to 15 comments that have interactions with at least two different characters. Comments must be the total comments posted by your character - a thread of 15 total comments would give your character 7 or 8 comments' worth of credit. ONLY count your own characters' comments in your total. More than one or two thread links are fine.
Starting a log or writing a voice post counts as 8 comments each. If you start/participate in a log or start a voice post, you are only required to submit a thread of 7 comments.
Acceptable activity combinations are as follows:
If you do not have the required number of threads, don't panic!. All you have to do is just make the needed posts or threads before the end of the check and link them here. For example, if you are just lacking a dream post, posting a dream post during this week will count for the Activity Check. But it must be linked.
If you have any questions or need any clarification about this, please feel free to ask a mod. Everyone must post below with the above requirements in order to pass the activity check.
** Exemptions: Players/Characters who are currently on hiatus OR were accepted in this most recent cycle (from October 1 - 14) and the ones coming in as part of the November app cycle, do not have to do the AC check. Players are still welcome to comment just so that we can have a nice record, but it's not required. Only those who commented on hiatus post are considered exempt. Slowatuses and those who just commented on the OOC community are not exempt.
COMMENT TO THIS POST USING THE FOLLOWING TEMPLATE:

**KEEP YOUR COMMENTS IN ONE THREAD!** This will make it a bit more organized. For example, let's say you have three characters. Two of them make the check so you could go ahead and make the comment with the links to their threads. The third did not meet the requirements so you later you make a post or a thread. Instead of making a new comment in reply to the entry, replying to the original comment is preferred.
IMPORTANT: Do not make a post or go on hiatus to dodge the check. If you really don't think you'll be able to be more active, we're prefer that you drop rather than prevent someone else who could be more active from applying for the character. If you really do want to try to be more active, however, that's when you would go on hiatus or make a few threads. Please do not sit on characters if you don't think you'll be able to play them.
If you have just come out of hiatus, you are more than welcome to talk to us and we can work something out. Also, if you know someone who cannot do the Activity Check for legitimate reason, such as computer troubles, life issues, etc., and they have not already commented on the Hiatus post, you can comment for them. You can either do their Check, OR comment on the post for them. However, we would just like a heads up so we know what's going on. Players are also encourage to contact any other players they know who may miss the check due to some reason or another.
We will make another reminder as well as provide a "Danger List" midway through the week.

It should be noted that we will be changing the Activity Check schedule starting January. We've been doing it every two months to accomodate the season and how busy people have been lately, but we think it would be better if we return to our monthly schedule and will be held the last week of every month. As usual, people from the previous app cycle will be exempt. The requirements will stay the same.
If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to ask either here or in PM/e-mail.
One last note: we will have important game announcements when Laena returns from her trip next weekend, and hopefully it will help give both the players and characters something to do. We'll have a community-wide discussion post to help work out any kinks from our proposals, so just giving everyone a heads up!
