Thread Lottery (stolen from Mayfield who stole it from Trans9)
And also suggested by Mekky in the Questions/Suggestions post. There had been some concerns about developing CR here lately, and this sounds like a pretty good solution to try out!
Basically what we're doing is randomly pairing up players and they will have to make at least one thread with each other with any of their characters. This is to not only help people get to know each other, but also help people develop some more CR.
Sign-ups will last until midnight (CST) November 21, Saturday, though if we need to extend it, we will be more than happy to do so. SIGN-UPS ARE CLOSED. RESULTS WILL BE POSTED SOMETIME SATURDAY, 11/21.
How it Works
We'll see how this works and if it's well-liked, we can do it again. Maybe next time we could try and randomize the characters instead of just players. Make it a little different each time so it won't grow stale.

PLAYERNAME: Your Name
CHARACTERS: (All characters here)
CONTACT: How to best contact you
Optional: If you want, you can mention anyone you've threaded a lot with already so we don't pair you up with them. - We'll take the names, randomize it in pairs, and post the list.
- Talk with the player you're assigned with, pick characters, and start plotting some kind of interaction!
- It can happen at any time, you just have to remember to do it!
- Either a log or a thread, just get some CR going with someone you've never really threaded with before.
