Phase: New Moon. The sky is pitch black, and the city and village are darker during the night hours than even the darkest of average nights. Flashlights may be a good investment for people thinking about walking around at night.
Weather: Despite the swirling clouds and dim flashes of lightning above the castle, the air is unnaturally calm and quiet. The lights have long since gone out in the castle, so the lack of moon bring Somarium to a state of pitch blackness with nightfall.
Effects: Characters will find the silence unsettling, and an unexplained, impending sense of anxiety and dread creeps up on them. Dreams should reflect sombre and jittery moods. Each character's personal crystal has turned a dull, solid black.
Notes: Keep an eye on the main community for a very large occurrence within the next two days. This event will affect all characters in some way or another. Characters may notice the Somni City NPC population whispering worriedly to one another about something, and all except perhaps the greatest of daredevils and the most destitute of criminals shut themselves indoors at night.
