Phase: Full Moon. For the fourth and final week of December, the moon remains at its brightest yet.
Weather: The weather has seen a very severe turn this week. On the morning of Wednesday the 29th, all the snow has melted away into mere puddles. It has become hot and humid, with temperatures in the mid to high eighties Fahrenheit. None of the spring and summer vegetation has returned, but the sun is overbearing, and compared to the chill of the past three weeks it is positively desertlike.
Effects: No other additional effects outside of the following notes.
Notes: This is the fourth setting change. It is Christmas in July. It is as if a week in July has been plopped into the middle of winter. Characters who enjoy hot weather will find this to be a welcome reprieve from the snowdrifts and ice of midwinter.

- Winter effects are abruptly gone. That means all mistletoe, snowmen and floating ornaments have abruptly disappeared.
- Fireflies! Instead of wintry things there are lovely fireflies floating about at night. They are bright as lanterns; enjoy them while they last.
- The Snowmen have become Scarecrows once more. They're still as tricky as ever, though.
- Santa's Workshop is gone for the season. Yuletide cheer is done.
- Rogue Presents and Present Theft Have Ended. Pretty self-explanatory.
- The NPC Townspeople will Act As If Nothing is Out of the Ordinary. In fact, all are dressed in casual summer clothes, and if asked directly, they will respond that it is Summer. July, specifically. They will not acknowledge that December was only a week ago and probably give your characters funny looks if you press it.
- The New Year is coming! Despite the above, Somarium still seems to 'sense' that the New Year is approaching. Fireworks will be launched from two locations in Somarium at midnight of the new year: first, at a mysterious glimmer from the top of the floating mountain, and second from the middle of the village Espoir. Fireworks will last for half an hour to welcome the fresh year. Glowsticks, snacks and t-shirts will be sold for this event.
