Alex does, eventually, come home. Much to his chagrin.

He's in the entryway now, at something like 1am, going through the mail Dina left out for him. He should totally get something in the kitchen.

"Hello," Henry says, coming into the hall. The music from Jaws may or may not be audible; either way, he's approaching.

See the way Alex's shoulders hunch at the sound of that voice? (Or is it the Jaws theme?) Yes, he is so very studiously going through the mail. Which is pointless, because it's all junk - anything of note goes to his office and he has a small army of people to go through it.

"Hey, honey." ...When in doubt use stupid pet names. He's not turning around yet, though, and instead is mentally calculating if he can dart to the kitchen before Henry can attack. He's just about recovered, despite Alex's paranoia on the subject, but he's not trained up yet. Maybe he could make it.

"I'd get you eventually," Henry points out, grinning (for his own sake, since no one can see him) and though he really is only guessing his guesses are better than anyone else's where Alex is concerned. "And there's nothing important in there, unless you're looking for a garter gun holster catalog?"
