:: Biography
Circa 356 BC, Hephaestion, son of Amyntor, was born. In his adolescence he began a relationship with Alexander III that would lead him to a distinguished military career, being declared second-in-command of his empire, and joining the royal family through marriage, all before his death in the spring of 324 BC.
What relevance, if any, this has to Henry Fabron, born June 12, 1977 in Oakland, California remains to be seen. Henry's family moved shortly after he was born to Arizona, where he grew up faster than a boy has any right to. Serious and dedicated, Henry graduated a year early from high school and enrolled in UT Austin, where he received his degree in political science magna cum laude. His parents regarded his academic success with slight confusion and great pride, but Henry was unsatisfied. He turned to working for various humanitarian organizations, particularly the Mercy Corps and the Red Cross, eventually traveling across a not insignificant chunk of the globe, restlessly searching for...something. As much as he did want to do something important with his life, that wasn't what was pushing him.
He starting studying in his spare time again (while acquiring various 'self-defense' training, which he thought was prudent considering the state of the world) and received a second degree, this time in civil engineering. He put it to work in various developing countries- nothing he planned was groundbreaking, but he showed a knack for getting things built quickly and well without emptying the pockets of whoever he was working for. While he was building his career and city developments he also began to experiment with pursuing relationships, and discovered that he definitely preferred men to women, and that he inevitably drifted away from even the most vibrant people for no reason that they didn't fit, like gloves tailored to someone else. It wasn't what he needed, so he largely abandoned being with other people in favor of creating things for them. As he moved on he was offered more stable, long-term employment on several occasions, which he politely but firmly turned down.
Henry returned to America on a more permanent basis when he was twenty-nine, at first to work with others on restoring New Orleans and later on placing solid infrastructure into inner city communities cross-country. Never an initiator, Henry nevertheless pushed a lot of projects forward, using skills in negotiation and improvisation honed in his other volunteer work. He made, and makes, a point of not raising his voice unless he needs to, and he's very persuasive when called upon to be. His life is full, rewarding, and never not busy, and somehow he's still not satisfied.

- Henry is a native English speaker reasonably fluent in Spanish, Portugese, Arabic, and French, with a scattering of African languages he can get by in to go along with them. He likes to be able to talk to people on their own terms. He's working on Hindi.
- He's not a political man, though he tracks politics closely, because he hasn't yet found a politician he believes in.
