You do know that part of the training is being dropped off in deserted woods with barely any supplies with instructions to evade the trained SEALs for a certain period of time: if you're caught before time is up, then you get taken back to camp and tortured?
I know that BUD/S is the weed-out program that lasts 6 months. I know that you sleep very little and are constantly moving and thinking. It's on a beach, where you PT (physically train) every day, and there's a "Hell Week" where in addition to PTing harder, you have to carry a 180 lb boat over your heads while getting less sleep. Basically it trains you to become a "frogman." I also know that SQT (SEAL Qualification Training) is where they train you how to engage the enemy, heal the wounded, and basically train you to be a SEAL. If you finish SQT you're awarded the SEAL Trident. Between BUD/S and SQT, if you're an officer, you attend a seperate school which teaches you combat situational decision making. It also teaches you how to train your platoon and be a better leader. After SQT, you're shipped off for Cold Weather Training, where you hike up mountains and the like.
