morality comes from society, and society is spawned from religion. without religion there wouldnt even be something that we can call morality. you're obviously wrong in that first point because there ARE still people who are religious, even though others may call it "made-up crap," and there isnt an ounce of evidence to back themselves up.
those "fairy tales" should not be just interpreted as a weakness. even though scientists make the advances in humankind today, it is those who are religious who have infinitely more potential to make a difference. Granted, religion is power and power is likely to be abused, but for every crusade there is a deist enlightenment (galileo, locke, and newton were FAR from being nonreligious), and for every suicide bomber there are ten christian relief organizations donating supplies to tsunami victims.

2) you dont see any suicide bombings by chinese ppl. you also dont see many politically active chinese people, or chinese ppl who make charitable donations or even act as if they care for the welfare of others. suicide bombers get the attentions of millions for their message; the majority of relief supplies come from large, religiously based organizations - meanwhile, the chinese are some invisible, overlooked, apathetic dot in the big picture; we are raised without religion.
could there be a correlation?
