Hi there,

I poked your LJ because I saw something you commented or posted (it was like three hours ago and I finally got back here :))

Interesting observations here, I was wondering if you would indulge my curiousity by giving some examples of tv/movies/characters?

Clark Kent in Smallville, despite being devastatingly gorgeous and apparently a damned fine actor. He demands honesty from everyone at the expense of kicking them out of his life, even saying once that Lex Luthor 'lied to him from day one,' when in fact, Clark was the one who actually lied from day one.

Buffy Summers in BtVS. She is very intense about what is wrong or right in the behavior of most baddies, but she handwaves most of the atrocities Angel commits, even when he loses his soul and commits them against her, because when he has a soul he was cursed with it. Somehow, this makes him more worthy of pity and respect than Spike, who fought his way through hell to get his soul back so that Buffy would stop treating him like dogshit. Uh, yeah. Also, Buffy herself will torture a human being to get information on a friend who may be in danger, but if a vampire tried it, they'd be just proving how evil they were.

Thank you! I had to send her a thank you note for that lovely gesture. You all seem interesting and I'm happy to be welcomed to livejournal like this.

You know, with all the Methos icons, you are all making me want to put my monster on hold for a while and write him. Oh, yes.

'Interesting' is a good word [g] I think the majority of my icons are Methos/PW based.
