I forgot to include the poem that I left with the rose! Silly me.

Originally, when I found it, it was attributed to Dante. ... through a bit of googling I later found out that it's actually a quote from a Star Trek: Voyager episode re-imagining Dante. Didn't care, used it anyway, it's too awesome.
