mike and i broke up and i'm moving out of our house. i'm pretty heartbroken about it but it was a mutual decision and the right thing to do, so i'm basically fine. mostly unrelated: i'm thinking about moving to mexico next summer, for about a year. i want to take advantage of my youth as much as possible. everything else is copasetic

you know - there's a new mexico now so don't rule that place out too. i lived there briefly in the summer of 1995. it was a part of a life swap program. i used to be so weird!

after you get through le mythe de sisyphe, you should read or re-read the stranger, if you haven't already read it in the context of the sisyphe article. i remember reading the stranger in high school, but reading it again in college after reading le mythe de sisyphe was much better, made a lot more sense. it's also a pretty easy read in french, if you feel so inclined.
