Or maybe, Gambit thought as he watched Rogue out of the corner of his eye, it's to do with the curve of a girl's smile and the way you could measure how she was warming up to you by increments and angles.

That line? Is so lovely in its simplicity. (I also love the sentence before, the eternal sphinx not understanding mortality.)

Heh - I can see why it would!

And thanks! I used to keep up with it every day for an... incredibly short period of time. But I think it's something neat to get back to.
