email from a lesser God

So for the last 9 months or so, my research has focused on several models of the cochlea, but one in particular.  I've very recently noticed that my results differ slightly from those in the published paper.  Is that a big deal?  It wasn't until we thought we might get a publication out of some research that has been done utilising this model.  ( Read more... )

good God, it was a factor of 2 that was predicted by our theory but doesn't exist in his code. ugggghhhhhh...

After all, this professor is one of the most highly regarded experts on cochlear modelling, sort of a founding father, a lesser God in the field.

Y'know, if that's true, then he'd be a 'lesser god'.

Not to be all theological and technical, but...

Theologically, capitalization is only important when dealing with God, although there are various other contexts in which capitalization of pronouns may or may not be important. :-P
