Day 03 - Your parents, in great detail

Okay, here's the thing.

I don't feel comfortable answering this question in the way intended.

For me to give you a detailed accounting of my parents requires me to do one of two things -- to gloss over the bad parts and in doing so be dishonest... or to show them to you warts and all, necessarily colored by my own viewpoint.

Instead, I'd like to tell you what parts of me came from my parents.

From my mother, I get my love of theatre and literature; my tendency to defer to others (sometimes to the point of my own detriment); my love of discussing spiritual matters; and my unique sense of organization.

From my father, I get my analytical side and my love of the unexplained; my sense of humor and ability to remember jokes; my sense of justice; and my love of puzzles and all things logical.
