Once again it is Remembrance Day and it saddens me to see that my country is currently involved in military actions on the other side of the world. at Dieppe. As many people were complaining about the rain and cold I couldn't help think about what is was like for our Canadian men that had no choice but to brave the elements and continue to battle the identified enemy. Ironically we went to Vietnamese restaurant for lunch and I couldn't help but think about the unspeakable atrocities that occurred in the name of freedom and democracy since the Korean conflict. It didn't put me off of my #99 (I couldn't tell you what I ate - I only know it by number), but it did depress me a bit.
