This is true. I've actually seen many more than 25 live (especially if you count my attendance at the '92 & '93 Lalapaloozas) - some of which I didn't mention due to possible embarassment. *cough* Barry Manilow *cough*
Yes indeed-y! A good music festival could put a person over the top on this meme.
1. David Bowie 2. Pink Floyd* 3. Dead Milkmen 4. Tricky 5. The Cure 6. Portishead 7. Tori Amos 8. Alanis Morisette 9. Cake 10. No Doubt 11. The Vandals 12. Megadeth 13. VNV Nation 14. KMFDM 15. Radiohead 16. Cruxshadows 17. Live 18. Ani DiFranco 19. Legendary Pink Dots 20. Rasputina 21. Morrissey 22. Sisters of Mercy 23. Wayne Newton 24. Duran Duran 25. Reel Big Fish
We MAY have seen more but these were the first shows that came to mind. On the way to the Morrissey show, JT and I kept listing bands and I kept thinking of more and more and more - it is easy to forget stuff.
U2 and DMB retain the top two spots at all times! I've been listening to a lot of Flogging Molly, Iggy Pop, Concrete Blond, Billy Idol, and The Pixies lately. You could say I'm kind of stuck in my late teens/early twenties when it comes to most of my musical tastes.
I also like - Clarly Simon, Etta James, Jimmy Buffett, Aretha Frankilin, The Beatles,....
I'm really quite jealous you've seen Fugazi, The Beastie Boys (we had tickets to a Lalapalooza at which they were headlining in 94 that got rained out and the Hello Nasty Show in Tampa (I think Mike D broke his arm) that got cancelled and never rescheduled), and Elton John.
