i think it's awesome you're thinking about this...it's a tuff job to create your own moral code, especially if some of your friends begin to not fit into that framework. i've found that i almost always have to end up confronting the things i have problems with head on...sometimes i end up embracing them and changing my morals, and other times i end up rejecting them, but the sum total in the end i think is acceptance--being able to take the world as it is, existing within my own understanding of truth that is somehow harmonious with everything else...haha, anyway. sounds good on paper, i guess, but it's another thing to actually do it. :P hey, what are you doing next thursday? my classes will be done by then...we should hang out! later...

I miss you, and reading your recent entries I feel a large swell of compassion for you and your place in the world at the moment. I can only tell you that you're in my thoughts. I wish things were slower, on the whole, so that I'd be better able to demonstrate how much I care to the people I care about... Put on your rollerskates, tie the laces tight, test out your balance, and don't stray too far from the hand-rails (when and where they are in fact available.) Something tells me that you're coming up on the ride of your life.
