they were done by a guy who makes timelines for a living apparently. you can download a pdf to study at your leisure, and they have also helpfully created printable versions.

that reminds me of those farside comics, where the scientists are all in a room arguing over something and get in an eraser fight. that's why they have to seek to hide everything... if it's in the open, people as smart or smarter than you will get hold of it and show you where you screwed up. not very handy when you are trying to show something IS true, rather than trying to find out WHAT is true.
