If I may be so bold, I'd recommend either Atomic Habits by James Clear, or Tiny Habits by B.J Fogg. They're both good, both similar in method, main difference is the author's voice (Clear is a reporter, Fogg is a teacher and academic; of the two I preferred Fogg, but your mileage may vary). I found them helpful for learning how to set up and establish good habits or break back ones, including exercise habits. Most libraries have Atomic Habits in my experience, and some might have Tiny Habits as well.
I'm also a fan of the site Habitica, which 'gameifys' habits - you set up a little character, define your daily and other habits, and check off the lists as you go along each day. I used it originally to set up a teeth flossing habit that I've maintained successfully for years now. It can also be helpful for accountability if you have partners on the site. You do quests together and if you don't check off your dailies the 'monster' you're fighting will damage you and the other members of your party. I recognize that it's not for

As for turning 61 - not too bad. I turned 71 in October. I tell ya, getting old is not for sissies, and you definitely are not a sissy.
