i bet to differ on the smelly tree feud...methinks dogwood beats the bradford pear. yick. :)

i've never noticed a smell from dogwoods, but if there is one, my opinion is that the beauty makes up for it. in the spring at usc, i would kill time between classes laying under one particular dogwood tree and reading. it was gorgeous, and one of my favorite things to look at are white dogwood flowers to a backdrop of bright blue sky.

are you sure there's not a bradford pear tree lurking around the corner near the dogwood in question? because i'm skeptical. ;-)

i agree: bradford pears = stinky poo. my mom thought it a great idea to line our driveway with them one time. i don't think God really liked that because there was a massive ice storm the next year and we had to cut a good many of them down. haha.
congrats on the essay contest! i never could muster up enough courage to enter one of those things. sometimes, my "slang" writing really does get the better of me. plus, i really don't like to capitalize letters.
and i'm so glad that work is going well for you. i broke down and quit 2 out of the 3 jobs that i had when i talked to you last, and i'm working on this last one. who woulda thought that God would have me here? i sure never did!
and i hope things go well with your dad's trip. i'm keeping your family in my prayers.
i miss you :) and i hope you're doing well. i'll be in the cool moore area sometime soon so i'll look you up when i get there. be ready...
