I was actually on Omegle the other day, and this guy and I talked for around an hour about homosexuality and debated about why it was wrong/right. Naturally, I was arguing that it was perfectly acceptable, and when he started pulling out all these scientific facts, I wished (not for the first time!) that you were there so you could pwn him. Just so you know. <3

And ummm, the Torah definitely does NOT have vowels. I can attest that myself, seeing as I have read out of it! Actual versions of the Old Testament bible in book form have vowels in their Hebrew, I believe from what I've seen in temple, but the Torah was the ORIGINAL book-the book form is merely a copy, sort of speak. People had to essentially guess what vowels were put in the words in translating the Torah and making the Hebrew version with vowels, which is where the theory (that I heard while studying for my Bat Mitzvah) that if different vowels were placed under some of the homophobic (and other passages), it would mean something totally different. I think your friend doesn't realize that the old testament in book form is NOT the original bible; the Torah is and is what is considered holy.
But...yeah. Just my little Jewish girl rant there. :)
