Oh boy 2009, here we come. I don't like resolutions but I do want to think about some of my hopes for the year. First and foremost more family time/dinners for my lil poly family and me. Date nights with Ole since our time together has become more co-habitaty and less romantic/datey. More contact with my mom and dad

YES! Yes yes yes fuckin' yes. I got to Portland twice this past year - previously I'd just spent hours or most of a day there, nothing like this - and I love the place, and it's almost like if someone made a city exactly to fit me, or you. Apparently for a lot of people actually. I figure you'd fit in perfectly there.

The style of dance I do originates from there. Although the studio has closed there's a lovely retreat center a little bit outside of town, with a steam hut, hot springs (with cold plunge), a simple stone labyrinth for walking and thinking as well as fresh cooked vegetarian cuisine! (Ok, so I'll be bringing some buffalo jerky to appease the carnivore in me but that's okay I figure). It'll be great. I think portland is super cool - I only know a handful of people there though so unfortunately I'll probably just be passing through. I am so looking forward to it.

In another lifetime, me and mine and you and yours live all live there and play lots of fabulous rpgs and eat awesome foods, eh?
