I really enjoyed how you tied Buddhist philosophy into this story. However, I must admit that the concept of inen seigi could have been explored more. I had to reread this a couple of times to straighten it out. (Well, at least I think I straightened it out. What I came up with was: Events are caused by a combination of personal efforts and divine blessing/luck/fate. Am I close?)

Religious philosophy aside, I love the way you worded this story. There are too many beautiful sentences for me to list out in full, but these were my favorite:

For Sakura and Naruto, missing Sasuke is the same as loving Sasuke: an unfair, terrible and beautiful truth that cannot be realized in halves.

... thinking about Sasuke and circles and ephemeral concepts that bridge time and space and justify distance and not being here and why.

She doesn't know how many of them Naruto gets, but she figures all when he sits down beside her and doesn't say a word.Your diction was superb; I love how you combined modern, scientific terms with more poetic ( ... )

Yes! You got the concept perfectly (or at least, as far as I get it...D:) Plus, you get extra points for helping me with my spelling>>fixed it right away, THANKS.

Yes, Sasuke is so missed. I wanted to write happy fic, but when I tackle team 7, over-the-top angst is sure to follow. At least no one died...?

Thank you so much for the review! <3

I don't like to rehash anything anyone else has said, but I'd like to thank you for writing such an intelligent piece of fiction.

Your treatment of the notion of fate within in the Naruto-verse is very well-handled. Patterns of behavior are repeated, willing or unwillingly by either individuals or different members of the same family.

It's an extremely satisfying piece of fiction, and yet I'm still left wondering about the notion of free will and how it would apply to such a scenario.

I'm memorying this.

I read this story last year. I never commented on it but I loved it enough to bookmark it. Recently, I've been going through my bookmarks and came across it again. So, now I'm letting you know that I love this story.

I don't think I quite grasp the philosophy behind the central concept well enough, but that's alright. I still like the way you write. Sakura is done very, very well in this story and her search to find meaning in Sasuke's continual absence is heartbreaking. The parts with Team 10 are also excellent. And how Naruto gives her hope is true to form. Lovely story.

My god, sometimes I can't even read this story 'cause it's such a blatantly freshman effort... But I totally admit that it's been a long time since I've poured my heart into writing anything the way I did with this.

Thanks a million, your review warmed the cockles of my heart. ♥
