I watched Waking Life tonight. I didn't think it was that great, but the concept of lucid dreaming is intriguing.

It seems kind of dangerous though.

Should I try it?

silly you, you cant just try lucid dreaming, you have to have been born a lucid dreamer, like me!

Apparently you can train yourself to do it.

ive had one when i had a deja vu dream, but its still one of the most surreal experiences ive had. training yourself? sounds like something worth looking into. what exactly do you find dangerous about lucid dreaming?

To name a few:

Mixing up dream memories and real memories.
Somehow distorting who I am in reality through reckless actions in dreams.
Exhaustion.
Getting attached to dream characters and relationships.

I had a lucid dream once. I used it to kiss a boy I had a crush on.

I definitely did not get my dream-world confused with reality. But that might be because the boy I kissed was a member of Hanson.
