I've messed up a lot of systems doing deliberate and not so deliberate stupid things, but I think my latest effort is a personal best. This brilliant guy extented Doom to work as a tool for process administration. The monsters represent processes. Killing a monster does a kill -9 and wounding it does a renice. oh yeah, now all I have to do is fix my workstation...

I could use a fast external harddrive and a new powersupply... (Yay for job, almost. Haven't even started yet.)

I just got a 300 watt from tigerdirect.com for $15; buy from online and you can probably afford it sooner rather than later. I love the Nixon icon, by the way.

I first used it without text, but it just seemed to scream it, ya know?

Anyway, yeah, I've had a stable run so far. The computer has been on since about 5 or 6 this morning...and with it pretty much closed up since noonish.
I'll probably attempt to back up my mp3s (and such) as soon as possible.

It's still hard to believe.

I wish I could talk to you again. I shouldn't have put it off. That was incredibly foolish of me.

I can't help but wonder what other foolish things I've done.

You will definately be missed.
