bandana for the sweat or just keep a towel near by...and you should be drinking about 2 1/2 to 3 nalgenes a day. so thats ATLEAST 80 mL of water a day. hope it helps! nice job with the losing weight! :o)
and FYI with the sweat..the more you sweat the healthier you are. So don't worry about it too much. It's very good to sweat. It's detoxifying your body.
Haha, I'm not good with the metrics stuff... can you tell. I think you might be right though, I was more agreeing with the nalgene part but the 80mL was easier to type. whatever :D
Yeah, afterwards I was like "wtf eyebrows, what are you there for anyway??"
They're really kind of pointless, when you think about it, since they're horrible at keeping things out of your eyes and they actually house little dustmite things anyway...I think we all only have eyebrows for social reasons, because obviously people are under the impression that any number of eyebrows that's different than "2" is a societal faux pas. Hence ridicule of unibrow-wearers and those who shave them off. So maybe we should all just accept that they've become useless, get rid of them, and try to put them out of style, for the benefit of future generations.
Either that, or it could be that I pluck them too much.
A track friend? That's me! I hate that stinging eye thing, I know what you mean, but your natural sweat shouldn't be stinging your eyes. Chances are it's something you are putting on your face that mixing with your sweat and then makeing you eyes hurt. If could be like, acne medication or lotion or even soap of somekind. I know that when I put suncreen on my face and then get all sweaty it burns my eyes. So if you can avoid it, don't put anything on your face until after you workout, or maybe wash your face before you go work out
( ... )
I don't wear lotion or foundation, but I do use Neutrogena fairly often to get rid of extra oil...that's usually after I work out, though. But I can try not doing that, or maybe just be lazy and bring a towel, in true hoopy frood fashion (I still haven't gotten the sequel to that book, but I want to.)
I used to refill empty two-liter bottles of root beer with water once my mom was finished with them and carry them around with me to school every day. Needless to say, that's not practical anymore, but I've been trying really hard to stay hydrated and it just won't work. It's gotten to the point where I basically don't drink anything but water (with the exception of hot chocolate...which is made with water). Water at every meal (at least one glass), water in between meals, water in a bottle with me at all times getting refilled throughout the day. I don't know if I can get any more water, but I will certainly try! And I do like drinking water...so I shall certainly try and increase my intake
( ... )
I'm glad you were interested in my advice, I hope it will actually help!
My goodness, you have been drinking alot of water!! Maybe, it's not the amount of water that's the problem, maybe it's something else... like having your period or a high sodium level?? I don't know. That's interesting though, because it seems you have been drinking alot of water.
That's good that you actually like water though. I don't know how a living organism could hate water, but I do. I do however LOVE ice, I could eat ice all day long. Go figure. I don't know what it is?
and lastly...
Hmmm, maybe you just happen to have like, really acidic sweat. Perhaps is it is actually radioactive and contains some kind of superhero powers. The answer to life questions could be in your sweat!!
Might I inquire about your spoons? I mean...your version of the freshman 15? I'd like to try it out if you don't mind. I like the sound of "Oh, you GAINED fifteen pounds? Poor you..." *silence* Actually, I'm a huge fan of it. ♥ :)

Yay for the "freshman fifteen" in reverse!

I seriously hope I make my goal, just for the ability to make statements like
"Sure, I'll come shopping with you! My clothes don't fit anymore either, but I outshrunk them."
"Yes, the freshman fifteen happened to me...BACKWARDS!"
and the ever-popular
"Oh, you GAINED fifteen pounds? Poor you..." *silence*

It happened to me for the first time a week ago when I went to a Kick-boxing class with Molly, and it hurt so much..
I think it has something to do with the fact that my eyebrows don't fulfill their evolutionary purpose...

My buddy got really drunk and passed out, so my other friend and I shaved his eyebrows off.... He was really surprized... but you couldn't tell.

Pretty much lined up with the other advice I got, too! I love the internet.
I haven't lost 15 yet, but I'm totally getting there. I've had this motivation of unknown origin to go to the gym every day...and I HAVE. Scary.

I have to walk all the way across campus to get to my gym, though, so I'll pretend that makes up for it.
And YAY for lime green! It's made for you!
You're welcome, and may we continue to motivate/inspire each other...
