Initially disapproved of a live action Where the Wild Things Are based on the whole live action idea, but apparently Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers (his first screenplay, too) are doing it. Now I might just disapprove based on the overwhelming hipness of the project. Anyone not wearing tight pants and American Apparel Tshirts will not be admitted

damn that perspective shatters all my hopes and dreams. that book has always been a top for me and to see it become some hip thing will just fuck my day up. you're entirely right. i was way psyched on the idea but now wouldn't be bummed in the cord was pulled. fuck my life.
