A large part of why that girl is freaking out is because she's Asian. My friend Clara (I don't know if you know her, she's in grade 11 at Sullivan right now) has been grounded the past few weeks because she's not getting an A in Chem 12 right now. Parents are insane. No one should have to worry that much about high school. :(
Wasn't practically the entire Socials 10 curriculum based around Aboriginals? I honestly don't remember, I've blocked most of it out (oh, Mr Kelly), but I vaguely remember that there was quite a bit.
Yeah, that's what I figured... But still... An education can only take you so far... I know Clara! I peer tutored her in Science 10! OMG, nooo.... The poor girl! I wish I could help her, but I didn't take Chem 12, so I would have no idea what's going on. But that's really crazy... I mean, she can take Chem 12 again (for free) because she's taking it right now, and then get an even better A. It's probably because of Ms Funk's not so great teaching... I've never had her, but from what I gathered she wasn't that great
( ... )
I know! I keep looking at the course catalog for Geography, and there are soooo many 300 and 400 level courses that I want to take! I'm sure I'll figure out what I will specialize in (besides Environmental stuff) later down the road.

But yes, generally, high school is a joke.

Do you plan on transferring to SFU? I recall you mentioning that quite a while back...
