So what is "Kubla Khan" about? I know it's an intentional fallacy when you just say that the guy was trippin'....

The first part is about building something (i.e. a text) out of nothing and the fallacies within that concept (i.e. it cannot happen but many believe that that is how a text is created).
The second part makes you realize that creation can be a difficult, even violent, process.
The last part talks about how sometimes, even with the best of intentions, you can fail to write anything you consider to be worthwhile.
As for "he hath drunk the milk of paradise" -- Coleridge assumed people would think he was crazy for looking at the creative process this way.
At least, that is what we discussed in class. ;)
Also, I got your text, but I am super-busy that weekend. The 27th is Kate's b'day and we have family plans, then on the 28th I am hosting a small b'day dinner for Erek (since the 28th is HIS b'day). I want to hang out with you sometime, though...
