I got new glasses yesterday. They are pretty snazzy. (I had to get new ones because Jackass with a Crowbar stole mine. May we call him that, please?)

Good coffee, The Stones, and of course the love of friends/family are keeping me going. I also have an appointment with Daybreak a week from today and a trip to the beach with Susan this weekend ( ( Read more... )

Dr. Seuss is my favorite author. It's awesome, because since I'm going to be a teacher I get to read him aloud all the time!

Oh, The Places You'll Go! and The Lorax are probably my two favorites. :)

Go Dog Go! was one of my favs. It's a bit low-brow but hey, I wasn't a smart kid.

Oh my god. I just learned that Go Dog Go wasn't by Seuss. In my defense, look at this cover and tell me it doesn't look Suess-ish. It's even got the Cat-in-the-Hat thingy on the front! http://www.amazon.com/Go-Dog-Beginner-Books/dp/0394800206

Glad you corrected yourself. Don't worry, though, many people confuse P.D. Eastman books with those of Seuss.

It's just that Seuss's are...better. ;) But I'm a touch biased! hah.
