this world is too confusing
i'm moving to mars

i was there when the world began
i watched the rise and fall of man
saw people blindly die
for some small difference
i've been around the world and i
don't know what's true
or what is right
but i believe that love's
the only savior

i thought that the good ones were all hiding
in books
in movies
in other countries
in dreams
maybe i found a good one
who isn't made of letters

p.s. pride is one of  the worst inventions in the history of the universe
it makes people behave like fucktards

what would i do if i couldn't get on the computer
and instantly know  the status of a hundred friends
or people i don't even know, really
i guess i would have to call and ask how they were doing
that's a lot of work, though
i miss riding my bike across town just to see if people were home
but this is progress
being personal is a thing of the past
