There are strange things occurring in the City right now, but nothing I know of that would have caused that.

A strange anagram that seems to be appearing everywhere, an underground that is collapsing… or at least changing significantly, and a clock that still is silent when it normally has a very persistent ticking noise.

[And the return of the ‘phantom pain’ attacks… that Eagle will of course never mention to anyone unless he has to. ]

[The Doctor had been in the middle of something - 'upgrading' it if you asked him, 'breaking it' if you probably asked someone else - but he dropped it and was on his way towards Jack.]

I've been here a few days now. Your friend, Mercy, she got a bit worried with your not-quite-a-non-coma. [He's glancing Jack over, since. Unexplained sleep.] You feeling alright?

"Mercy! So you're home. What's been going on, has it really been a week?"

She leaned against the doorway, catching her breath after her mad dash. "Something like that, yeah. You scared me half to death. Is this something you do regularly?"
