Birthdays tend to become less important to us as we get older, and I think I've figured out why.

When we're five years old, each of those years counts for 20% of our total life to that point. That's huge. But when we hit 20, each of those years only counts for 5% of our total life to that point. Not so important. By the time we hit 50, each year is ( Read more... )

I like birthdays :) It is a good time to reflect on how far you have come in life and how much more you have to look forward to.
