so my computer is dead. i've gotten over the denial, the meltdown, and was firmly stuck in anger (until yesterday). it was a dell, one of the less flashy models, and only a year and a half old. the warrenty ran out 4 months ago. luckily the hard-drive is okay, but that's about it. apparently when the motherboard goes on a laptop it's all over

My dell caught on fire.

Literally. In my lap. Sparks and flames.

And though that wasn't the first problem, it was definitely the last...

Hence my owning of a brand new toshiba.

AMAZING! mine just went to sleep and never woke up... that must have been scary, but if it's going to go be an asshole, it might as well make a good story out of itself!
