Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who cant sleep because they can't stop thinking?
Its not too bad-for some reason I'm not gettting tired (Usually I'm like th biggest baby if I get less then 7-8 hours)
BUT I'm sick of thinking :-P
Tried counting sheep but they refuse to go over the fence and then I get distracted.

Get more exercise? It seems to work for me, which is why I'm awake too much.

Look at 'alleviating insomnia'.

Dude, who hasn't had that advice? I've received 'go for a run' from fifty people. and besides, most of what you attribute to not remembering is not listening.

Take up yoga with me. It'll be fun.

Yes but I most definatly suggested first-you got me to elaborate and discuss why and everything.
I would but I cant afford it. Plus I find it kind of boring :P

yeh mike is right about the exercise...

or you could try drinking chamomile tea, supposedly thats good for sleep. or if it comes to it you cna get these herbal sleeping tablets from health shops - "deep sleep" by i think its called "good health"... i had to use them for a while and the first time they nearly made me fall asleep at the computer while doing homework (so yes, this is a fair few eyars back nwo!), lol. but after youve taken thenm a few times its not that powerful, hehe. could be worth a shot if you get desperate

Tried the exercise-I actually gave Mike that advice when he couldn't sleep! But I'll try the chamomile tea-thanks :) Hopefully wont get desperate for pills-hate the idea of being almost made to sleep, just want to feel sleepy-but you know if desperate. And herbal will be good :)

theya re non addictive too ,and u dont wake up with the disorientated feeling you can get from normal sleeping pills.

take up yoga with mike... i was doing it for a couple of weeks (only by dvd, so got bored quick, haha) and it helped with sleep alittle bit. i still sleep really badly, but things liek that help
