We-e-ll, blogs work better when people who aren't me write them, but we'll see, eh? Judging from the blogosphere at large (no-one on this friends' list, mind,) I'm beginning to think it's a tacit legal requirement for all cynical gaijin expats of a certain age to have a snarky online record of all their daily activities in Japan. Otherwise, they must exist under the mistaken assumption that there are inquiring minds who want to know about these sort of things. Like, I don't know, a hundred digital photos of ramen and vending machines from different angles. :D /rant
Actually, B's Australian, but he speaks Old Norse fluently, and by association Icelandic. And he also knows roughly three hundred million things about Icelandic history and culture, which counts for something and is, I imagine, Possibly Relevant To Your Interests.
Fffffffff. Sweetness, I physically cannot take photographs. Like, at all. My mother was a photographic artist and curator, and I think it's safe to say the talent skipped a generation. You're good at it, though! :D But, anyway: yeah, you're right, I am kinda a loser. :P
Well, I was initially planning to go for work, but then I got an email from my professor and apparently now something amaaaaazing is potentially happening. Details in the next THRILLING INSTALMENT of my LJ.
