Summary: Nooj asks Paine to meet him at Sophie's Crepes. What is this? A date? Rikku sure would be happy. Paine doesn't know why he wants to see her, thought.

I still don't know why he wants to meet me. What could suddenly pique his interest in my company? And why?
Paine crossed her arms over her chest as she stood outside the door to Sophie's Crepes. Did the man like crepes? Maybe he'd read the exchange between her and Rikku. He didn't even know who Rikku was, though. He was an observant man. Paine knew this. Even if he didn't know Rikku, if he was truly interested in Paine, then he would want to know her friends as well. Right? Riiiiight? It seemed logical.
"Well, whatever. It gives me a good chance of trying to remember. Damn nostalgia. It's such a pain to think I know him, when I probably don't," she groaned to herself as she waited for him. There was no excruciatingly weird makeup tonight. She'd foregone a reading at Starbuck's to come to meet him on this night. He must have known that too...
