I have been looking recently into finding more of a career. I can't help support a family on a dog walker's salary. Upon thinking about what I'm good at, and what I enjoy doing, I have -considered- getting into locksmithing. Locksmithing is an arcanum!

Loompanics Unlimited used to sell locksmithing manuals, but they folded a few years back. It would be very cool if you could get into that trade.

I gave my friend another call, and he's willing to teach me what he knows. Yay! So, I'm going to learn from him, and see if I can get an apprenticeship in a six months or so. Maybe I can skip the 'formal' schooling altogether. I'd still need certification when my apprenticeship runs it's course. I'd say I'm off to a good start, though! :)

...and of course I mean the day that you're making locksmith money...Cha-Ching!

I think it's a great career choice; even if you can't find work as a locksmith...the skills can certainly be used in other money making operations ;)
