Concerning the world wide domestic cat population, it has indeed exploded.
While they may tell you at an animal shelter that pets are frequently adopted and are rarely put down, this aplies to anything but cats.
In reality hundreds of cats are put down each week. At our clinic thers about 10 cats a week that are put to death, most of them kittens.

However, acording to Michael Davies I am certain to make it as a writer, he even said he'd publish my books!
Ive given him the "NO,U!" sticker a thousand times, but being the same person as me he gives it right back.
Birth control pills for cats? never heard of them, but its a great idea!

The pill probably hasn't reached here yet, or has been banned for some reason. Ive never heard about kidney problems after, I watched a few neuterings, all they do is snip the balls and tie the cords. spaying is more difficult, but its mostly the same procedure they use on human females.
