Post June Regroup!
SO! I think I get to be pretty happy about what I accomplished in June toward Real!Book. I did not hit my word count goal, but I did make a lot of progress none the less.

I only won six (*) which I used to mark days where I hit my goal. I knew I was going to be working double shifts two days, where you see the 0s, so I broke the word count goal between 28 days, which came down to about 1780 per day.
I was able to complete the "zero draft" of all but 4 chapters within that time, two of which I am saving to the end because that character is in a COMPLETELY different island/environment, and I am keeping my brain in the main location until it's complete so my head doesn't explode. So! After zero draft is done I am guessing another 2 months of perfecting/editing/forcing people to read it and get back to me before I start querying.
Slowly but surely... Just don't give up!!
